The Client

Nymity is a leading privacy research and training firm as well as a provider of privacy-support solutions. Nymity’s premier offering is PrivaWorks, a set of web-based tools designed to help professionals in the privacy field maintain compliance, mitigate privacy risks, and monitor related legislation. More than 500 subscribers across North America rely on PrivaWorks to provide them with the insight and control they need to understand and respond to privacy threats and vulnerabilities.

The Challenge

In order to have its corporate website serve as a more effective sales tool for PrivaWorks, Nymity decided to integrate into the site features and functionality — free resources; statistical research — that would expose Internet visitors to the value of the PrivaWorks suite while still protecting portal access for professional users of the solution.

The SiteSystems Solution

SiteSystems was able to achieve this by leveraging the Sitecore CMS solution supporting PrivaWorks and using it to host both sites. This has enabled the effective sharing of appropriate information between the two sites while helping to control the costs of development and implementation. Internet visitors on the corporate site can experience the PrivaWorks product suite, while PrivaWorks clients are assured the information they access retains its integrity. SiteSystems also developed a style guide to support the new look and feel of the corporate site and help administrators maintain its content to a set of common standards. The project was completed on time and within budget.
